Our Process

1. Initial Consultation and Goal Setting

We begin by discussing your personal motivation, training experience, and interests, while also exploring your desired outcomes. This helps us set clear, realistic, and personalised goals from the outset.

2. Health and Fitness Assessment

We carry out an evaluation to understand your current fitness level. This includes assessing strength, flexibility, and overall conditioning, ensuring that any programme we develop is both safe and effective.

3. Program Design and Planning

Based on your assessment and goals, we design a tailored training programme. This plan considers your current capabilities and outlines a balanced approach that will progressively build your strength, endurance, and flexibility.

4. Education and Instruction

Each session includes detailed guidance on proper technique and practice. Giving you the knowledge needed to take meaningful steps towards your goals while ensuring progress is achieved safely.

5. Implementation and Training Sessions

Now it’s time to put in the work. During each session, you’ll engage in a well-structured programme beginning with a warm-up followed by the training.

6. Ongoing Monitoring and Reassessment

We track your progress and reassess your performance. This ongoing evaluation allows us to adjust your programme as required, ensuring you are always appropriately challenged and steadily moving towards your goals.

7. Long-term Planning

While we celebrate short-term milestones, we always keep your long-term fitness vision in focus. Our aim is to empower you to maintain your progress, build lasting habits, and continuously evolve your training as your needs and goals change.

“Having done martial arts for many years and moving towards my 60th birthday, I have been seeking health-related exercises. I have taken an interest in Qigong and Tai Chi Chuan. I have been practising with Sifu for over two years and have experienced a very positive impact regarding breathing, physical strength, coordination, flexibility, balance and postural alignment. Sifu's teaching methodology is clear and concise. He uses a step-by-step approach to break down each movement into building blocks. Sifu is patient and very focused on the correct execution of the forms. I am happy and thankful to have Sifu as my teacher, and I look forward to training with him for many more years.” - M.
